Mid-West Truckers Association’s April Trucker of the Month was John Wood Trucking, Inc., of Paris, Illinois.
John Wood Trucking, Inc. has been a member of Mid-West Truckers Association since 1994 to secure their authorities and have made use of many additional services since that time. John Wood Trucking, Inc. has been a member of the Midwest Truckers Risk Management Association since March of 2013.
John Wood Trucking, Inc. has a diverse fleet of trailers that keep them busy throughout the year. They run 6 Timpte hoppers hauling grain in central Illinois and Indiana. They also run 2 26″ steel dumps and four 35″ triaxle East dumps hauling rock, sand and gravel. Also in the fleet is a RGN drop deck expandable trailer for oversize loads and a van. Today there are 10 full-time and 2 part-time drivers operating the fleet of 7 Internationals, 2 Peterbilts, and one Kenworth.
